He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie George and Gladys Denger (Carlson); his wife Peggy E. Denger (Hudson); his children, Betsy Hardymon and Robert Denger; and his siblings, Norma Webb, Beverly Jeffries, Lowell, Art, Charles and Kenneth Denger.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Bennett of Greenfield, Steven "Ned" Denger of Fortville and Joseph Denger of Greenfield; and his sister Patsy Isles. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
