It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delmore Jones of Greenfield, Indiana, born in Muses Mills, Kentucky, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Jones (Wyatt) and Hiram P. Jones; his siblings, Homer, Forest, Winford Jones, Arlene Brown, Francis Pitts and Vonda Gross; and his son-in-law Dennis Cowan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jones (Walker) of Greenfield; his children, Dwayne Jones of Greenfield, Julie Grodey (Jeff) of Charlottesville and Teresa Cowan of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Amber, Deric, Tyson, Megan, Casey, Hannah, Nathaneal and Felicity; his great grandchildren, Tara and River; his brothers, Billy Jones of Pendleton and James Jones of Knightstown; his sister-in-law Lillian Jones of Cincinnati; his pet Oreo; and also Todd Jones (Kim) of Lead.
