He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hurst and Cleo Rose Hurst; and his stepdaughter Kim Lambert. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Hurst of Greenfield, Indiana; his stepchildren, Kristen Lambert of Indianapolis, Alicia Lambert of Greenfield and James Lambert of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his sisters, Keva Turner of Port Orange and D'osha Stratton of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also survived by six step grandchildren; and one step great-grandson.
