He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert "Butch" and Lucy Marie Berg (Emal); and his sisters-in-law, Janice McGary and Donna Dwiggins. He is survived by: his wife Rita Berg (McGary); his children, David J. Berg (Cecilia), Peter Berg (Pamela), Mary Eddy (Steven), Margaret "Peggy" Hays (Ty), Donna Bettler (Bill), Teresa Berg and Paul Berg (Angela); his brother Thomas Berg (Jacquelyn) of Huntsville, AL; and his brothers-in-law, Roy McGary of Aurora, IL and Thomas Dwiggins of Batavia, IL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
