He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Caryl Kern and Rosemary Kern (Schenck); his children, Shannon Moyer (Kelly), Jacqueline Smith (Tony), Mary Blangy (Robert), Bethanie Cosman (Josh), Daniel Kern (Fawn) and Natalie Jacobsen (Brandon); his grandchildren, Carina Howe, Valerie Smith, Luke Blangy, Gwendolyn, Joshua Cosman, Zella Kern, Lilly, Gabbie, Catie, Izzy and Madi Jacobsen; his great grandchildren, Jase White and Bentley Howe; his siblings, Larry Kern (Marsha), Garry Kern (Sue) and Janee Parker; his brothers-in-law, Sam and Dan Fix; his wife Gwendolen Kern (Fix); his grandson Jerryd Blangy; his siblings, Joanna Picket, Mary Wolmer and Robert Kern; and his brother-in-law Rick Parker. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
