He was predeceased by: his father Gerry Allen. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Allen (Jones); his wife Lisa L. Allen (Bogemann); his children, Brittany Allen and Brandon Allen; his stepchildren, Joseph Alexander (Ali), Sarah Alexander and Dylan Routier (Ashley); and also Margaret Allen. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
He recently received the Exemplary Service Award from Ball State for his outstanding contribution to Information Technology.
