It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Garriott of Greenfield, Indiana, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Garriott to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Estella Pauline (Foreback) and Ralph Sturet Kemerly; her husband Everett Lee Garriott; her son Jeptha Troy Thomas; her grandson Jeremy Newkirk; her brother Marvin Kemerly; and her sister-in-law Nayo Kemerly.

She is survived by: her son Travis Garriott (Linda) of Muncie; her grandchildren, Missy, Jennifer, Brandy, Becky and Shelly; and her brothers, Cleo, Thomas (Marla) and Jerry Kemerly (Barb). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Hancock County Purdue Extension – Home Economics, 972 E. Park Avenue, Greenfield, IN 46140 and American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
