He is survived by: his wife Doretta; his children, Sherry Hedge (Bob), Sandy Dean (Steve) and Charles Poynter (Tamara); and his sister Carolyn Fowler (Claude). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
