He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ralph and Bonnie Myrtle Johnson (Paris); his wife Norma Jean Johnson; his son Chris Alan Johnson; and his sisters, Laura Ann Sims, Phyllis Lucielle Cox and Rita Louise Neumann.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Oliver (Larry); his sister Georgia Best; his grandchildren, Jenny Dobson (Adam), Brandi Sharp (Bobby) and Daniel Oliver; and his great grandchildren, Lilli Lawless (Ashley), Elizabeth Dobson, Natalie Dobson, Anna Sharp and Kaydence Sharp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home (4 Percy L Julian Dr, Greencastle, IN 46135). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
