He was predeceased by: his son Kevin Perkins; and his brother Woody Porter. He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Perkins (Nelson); his children, Steve Perkins (Joni), Cindy Perkins, Roger Perkins, Rebecca Hoffeditz (Brian), Jeffrey Perkins, Barbara Samsel (Mike) and Glenda Couts (Kerry); and his brother Bill Perkins. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
