He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Clover and Helen Clover (Gates); his wife Patricia Clover (Meek); and his siblings, James and Janice Clover Butler.

He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Hayes (James) of Mukwonago, Wisconsin; and his brother Stanley of Greencastle.
