It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Leland Shepherd of Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 14, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, William Shepherd and Jacqueline Shepherd (Miller); his cousin Ella Cofer; his brothers, Brian Miller, Weslee Benge, Braylon Shepherd and Jaxon Shepherd; his grandparents, Joseph, Anna Miller (Carpenter) and Carolyn Shepherd (Lytle); and his great-grandparents, Eddie, Rosie Rogers (Fowler) and Jenny Carpenter. He is also survived by nephew; as well as, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
