It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Dee Allen of Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bayard Scobee and Frances Allen (Browning); his wife Suzanne Glore; and his pet Hannah. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Hupfer (Mark); his brother Bayard Lee Allen; his niece Beth (John); and his great-nieces, Nicole (Steven) and Megan.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Putnam County Community Foundation-Greencastle Dollars for Scholars/GHS Alumni Scholarship.
