She was predeceased by: her parents, John William "Bill" Lukenbill and Bernice Lukenbill (O'Hair); her husband Roy Staggs; her grandson Thomas Staggs; and her siblings, Lulu Proctor, Jim Lukenbill, Betty Eiteljarge and Iola Robinson.

She is survived by: her children, Janet Eaton (Scott) of Greencastle, Linda Staggs of Lexington, KY, Dawn Perry (Lee) of Sibley, IA and Rod Staggs of Greencastle; and her sister Jessie Detro (Danny) of Bainbridge, IN. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
