He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bill, John Pursell, Betty Query and Freda Thrasher. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Pursell; his children, Allen Pursell (Tamara), Darrin Pursell, Brent Pursell (Megan) and Teresa Campbell (Arthur); and his stepchildren, Deborah Gress (Tim), Lisa West and Kirk Nave. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home (4 Percy L Julian Dr, Greencastle, IN 46135). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Thomas Cemetery.
