She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Crawley and Irene Crawley (McCammack); her husbands, James Whitaker of Whitaker's Diner and Lester VonTress; her siblings, Randall, Glendon, Jack, William Crawley, Louise Williams and Arlene Parham; and her stepchildren, Royce, Roland Cavin and Rhea Cannon.
She is survived by: her children, James Whitaker (Sheryl), Max Whitaker (Jeannette) and Pamela Sue Steele; her stepchildren, John VonTress (Kathy), Jerry VonTress and Teresa VonTress; and her grandchildren, Lisa Newbrough (Dan), Jimmy Whitaker (Anoushka), Anthony Whitaker, Donald Whitaker, Robyn Ganly (Rick), Kellie Lowry (Mike) and Elizabeth Senisse (Jorge).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home (4 Percy L Julian Dr, Greencastle, IN 46135). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the donor's favorite charity in memory of Frances.
