We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2024, at the age of 96, Donald Thornton Irwin of Greencastle, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Joan Irwin; and his siblings, Francis Gail Irwin, Robert E. Irwin, Letha Cofer, Elinor Buis, Majorie Wallace, Dona Joan Pierce and Carolyn Flint.

He is survived by: his children, Donald R. Irwin (Judy) and Susan Freire; his grandson Joaquin D. Freire; and his brother-in-law Dale Pierce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
