She was predeceased by: her parents, Nova June Cooper and Farrell Hollen; her brother Curtis Cooper of Greencastle; her husband Joe; and her significant other Dave.

She is survived by: her stepparents, Gerald Cooper and Gay Hollen; her siblings, Dianna Cox (Gary) of Clayton, Patty Hollen Doyle (Frank) of New Albany and Paul Robinson of New Albany; her former husband Joseph Earl Smith; her children, Rebecca Cotterill (Nobi) of Wolverhampton and England; her grandchildren, Dakotah VanEvery, Kavaun (Jade), Keenan, Kendal, Kimberlyn Treadwell, Jeffrey and Jonas Smith; her stepgrandchildren, Curtis Cotterill and Honey Cottams; her niece Tonya Cummings (Jimmy); her nephew Matt Cox (Whitney); and her daughter-in-law Whitney.
