She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Palmer and Ruby Lee Palmer (Mann); her children, Michelle Selby, Melody Truesdale and Randolph "Randy" Thompson; her grandson Ricky Johnston; her great grandchild Jonathan Strong; and her siblings, Gilbert Palmer and Barbara Faust.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Thompson (Annette) of Mooresville, Roberta Simpson (Robert) of Arizona, Mary Williams (Kent) of Greencastle and Tina Johnston (Keith) of Greencastle; her sister Betty Crawford; and her sister-in-law Alice Jane Palmer.
