We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2023, at the age of 85, James VanSant of Graysville, Indiana, born in Jasonville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Shepler VanSant; his siblings, Bob VanSant, Robert E. VanSant and Barbara Hughes; and his great grandchild Julian Mast.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Jewell VanSant; his children, Mark VanSant (Carole), Tracey Lankhaar (John), Andrea Whiteman (Randy), Amy Hale and Jill Shaffer (Chad); his sisters, Jeannie Gore (John), Denise VanSant and Valrie Drake (Larry); his sisters-in-law, Pricilla VanSant and Becka Chickadaunce Mr; and his caregiver Terry Gilreath. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
