It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnnie H. Luttrell of Grantsburg, Indiana, born in Brownsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Luttrell and Catherine Inez Luttrell (Wolfe); his son-in-law Ray Matheis; and his brother David Luttrell. He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Luttrell (Niephaus); his daughters, Tammie Matheis and Veronica Hobbs (Raymond); his grandchildren, Jeremy Matheis, Jonathan Matheis (Amanda) and Natasha Luttrell; his great grandchildren, Odin Matheis, Trystan Matheis, Kaydence Matheis, Keaton Matheis, Harmony Dunn and Kinsley Dunn; and his siblings, Earline Carlise, Earl Luttrell, Phyllis Wilson, Dot Ashley and Nelda Vincent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denbo Funeral Home (628 IN-64, English, IN 47118). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the United Baptist Church.
