He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Ann Chara-Bailey (David) and Venus Chara Doherty (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kevin Vincent Doherty, Lauren Margaret Mary Doherty, John Carter Bailey and Benjamin Thomas Bailey; and his brothers, Josef Chara (Marta) and Vladimir Chara.
