He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lechlitner and Hattie Lechlitner; and his sister Margaret L. Dillman. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Lechlitner; his children, Jennifer Lechlitner of Kalamazoo, MI and William Lechlitner (Katie) of Buchanan, MI; his granddaughter Brinley Lechlitner; his stepgrandsons, Aidan and Rylan Fisher; his brothers, Herbert Lechlitner (Susan) of Lakeville, IN and David Lechlitner (Debra) of Mishawaka, IN; and his brother-in-law James Dillman of Elkhart, IN.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren he had many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hahn Funeral Home (505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
