She was predeceased by: her parents, Donato Marroni and Angiolina Marroni (Valenti); her siblings, Yolanda Retek (Paul), Julia Hoffman (Marion), Helen Counts (Ed), Mary Marroni, Berto Marroni and John Marroni Sr.; her siblings-in-law, Sharon Berglund, Dolly Marroni, Betty Marroni, Paul Retek, Marion Hoffman and Mike Edstrom; and her nephew Ken Hurt Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Edstrom; and her nieces and nephews, Nancy Miko (Frank), Barb Marroni-Pierson, Susan Snead (Mike), Denise Pellow-Douglas, Lisa Bragg, Monica Deleon (Jose), Amy Hurt, Michelle Lawton, Malissa Yingling, Paul Retek, John Marroni Jr., Daniel Marroni, David Witt, Jeff Witt and Shawn Edstrom.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Welsheimer North (17033 Cleveland Rd, South Bend, IN 46635). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (52553 N Fir Rd, Granger, IN 46530). A burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at the Highland Cemetery (2257 Portage Ave, South Bend, IN 46616).
