Rita Marie Pilawski Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Marie Pilawski of Granger, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Walter Pilawski; her parents, Sophie Reimann and Leo Reimann; her brother Richard Reimann; and her sister-in-law Ginny Reimann.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Mary Beth Cannon (Kevin), Patricia Pilawski (Bernard Dickens Jr.), Bill Pilawski (Lisa Manoogian), Ann Marie Schreiber (Kevin), Gene Pilawski (Teresa), Julie Gamber and Michael Pilawski (Heidi); and her grandchildren, Michael Cannon (Sierra), Molly Gamber, Jack Cannon, Megan Gamber, Patrick Pilawski, Daniel Pilawski, Jack Thomas Pilawski, Abigail Nush, Mary Gamber, Joe Pilawski, Ryan Pilawski and Remi Pilawski. She is also survived by her family that includes her seven children and twelve grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (52553 N Fir Rd, Granger, IN 46530).
