James Michael Yohe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Michael Yohe of Granger, Indiana, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur V. Yohe and Anna Yohe (Moran); and his siblings, John A. "Jack" Yohe, Arthur V. Yohe, Edward A. Yohe, Joseph T. Yohe and Annamae Yohe Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Farmer Yohe; his daughter Maribeth Yohe; his sister Sister Alice Yohe (S. J.); his siblings-in-law, Susan Yohe (Deming), Esther Farmer (Allinger), Margaret Farmer (Wack), Mari Tellson (Farmer) and Michael P. Farmer (Rita); and his caregivers, Aurora Leach RN, Ashley Cruz RN, Elizabeth King RN, Sarah Pinter and Mye Macaraeg. He is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews.
In October 1971, Jim was awarded the federal government's Silver Medal for Meritorious Service for his "superior leadership and outstanding contributions to the President's program to prevent air piracy.".
