It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gisela Elisabeth Helene Stopczynski of Granger, Indiana, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert Stopczynski; her children, Nicholas Stopczynski, Deborah Smogor (Daniel), Kimberly Cole and Melissa Barrier; her grandchildren, Austen Hesch (Julie), Lauren Mieras (Jordan), Brittney Horvath, Kassandra Sterry, Samantha Flanagan and Joey Cole; her brother Hans Jurgen Goepner (Emtrout); and her nephew Oliver Goepner. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
