Elizabeth A Gadacz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth A Gadacz in Granger, Indiana, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Rupchock and Martha Rupchock (DeGeyter); her brother Stephen Rupchock, Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Mark Smith, Fred Roberts and Terry Riordan; and her husband Ben.
She is survived by: her children, Aggie Gadacz-Atkins (Jeffery Atkins) of Mishawaka, Indiana, Barbara Allison (Bob) of Walkerton, Indiana, Carmen Wegener (Arnie) of Goshen, Indiana, Susan Gadacz (Mary Triggiano) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Kenneth of South Bend, Stephen Gadacz of South Bend and Betty; her great grandchildren, Olivia Rynearson, Barrett, Isabella, Wegener, Charlotte and Kairi Mitchell; her siblings, Marge Roberts of Kokomo, Indiana, Cathy "Tiny" Riordan of South Bend, Marnie Smith of Des Moines, Iowa, Pete Rupchock (Debbie) of Angola, Indiana, Mary Anne Dunlop of San Diego, California, Robert Rupchock (Jane) of Niles, Michigan, Judy Cross (Milton) of San Diego and Daniel Rupchock (Carolyn) of Niles; and her sister-in-law Carol Rupchock of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Funeral Home (824 S Mayflower Dr, South Bend, IN 46619). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Casimir Catholic Church (1308 Dunham St, South Bend, IN 46619). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Adalbert Catholic School, 519 S Olive St, South Bend, IN 46619 or to the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Volunteer Food Ministry.
