With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Aladar Oliver Maylath (Granger, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver A. Maylath and Mary Maylath (Petesh); his sister Elsie Maylath; and the mother of his children Delores Heyvaert. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Svadeba (George), Mark Maylath (Kim) and Carol Estep (Chip); his grandchildren, Brooke McCreary, Erica Estep, Evan Estep (Jessica), Shannon Maylath and Dr. Jeremy Maylath; and his children, Lynette Sphar, John Petish III and Heather Pollmann.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (52553 N Fir Rd, Granger, IN 46530).
