He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Oliver and Lillian C. Lambert (Hoar); his former wife Helen; his sons, George McMurtrie and C. Chris Lambert; his grandsons, Charles E. Lambert III and George McMurtrie Jr.; and his brothers, John and Bob Lambert.
He is survived by: his wife Dolora; his children, Penny Brennan (John), Doug McMurtrie (Deb), Charles E. Lambert Jr., Aaron Lambert (Kelli), Raechelle Saylor (Kirk), Steph Gordon (Bruce) and Rhonda Collins (Daniel); and his brother Allen. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (52553 N Fir Rd, Granger, IN 46530). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
