She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Goentzel and Margaret Goentzel (Jost); and her son Jeffrey Schultz. She is survived by: her husband Delmer Schultz; her daughter Debra Schultz of Chesapeake, Virginia.; her daughters-in-law, Lucy Schultz of Granger and Stephanie Heustis of Fort Collins, Colorado.; her grandchildren, Emily, Alex, Mackenzie, Micala, Katelyn, Hannah, Joseph, Naomi, Victor and Violet; her great grandchildren, Keldyn, Aria, Isaiah, Ezekiel and Thea; her siblings, Leroy Goentzel (Norma) and Jane Eitzen (Robert); her sister-in-law Sandra Goentzel; her son Michael Schultz; and her siblings, Charles Goentzel and Judith Diane Goentzel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Granger Community Church (2710 E Bristol St, Elkhart, IN 46514). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
