He is survived by: his daughters, Sheena and Nakita; his father Jerry Merritt (Darlene); his stepfather Vernon Mitchell of Grandview; and his siblings, Bobbi Sabelhaus (Pat McKinney), Shannon Merritt (Chris), Theresa Galey (Curtis), Tammy Merritt, Misty Bolin (Tracy) and Vernon "Bud" Mitchell of Grandview. He is also survived by grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
