He is survived by: his wife Patricia McVay; his children, Michael Schlachter (Debbie), Jennifer Mallory, Tracy Flores, Robert Schlachter, Shane Schlachter, Ronald Jackson (Aundie), Patrick McVay, Gary Hires, Ashleigh Schlachter and Angela McVay; and his siblings, Kenny Schlachter and Katherine Fleck. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home (527 Main St, Rockport, IN 47635). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
