She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Alma June Simmons, Jr. (Wallace); her son Kevin Lynn Venson; and her sister Lula Mae Fisher. She is survived by: her husband James Lee Reed; and her siblings, John Henry Simmons III, Walter Alan Simmons, Terry Lee Simmons, Charles Kevin Simmons, Alma Gail Hall (Barry) and Deloris Jeanine Hall (Donald). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, also, numerous nieces and nephews.
