It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Melvina E. Wooten of Grammer, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 79, on March 6, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Miller and Mildred Shinolt Miller; her brothers, Everett, Karl and George Miller; and her siblings-in-law, Dan Singleton and Karen Miller.
She is survived by: her daughter Crystal Prewitt (Jamie) of Seymour; her grandchildren, Mia Prewitt of Seymour, Jordan Prewitt (Ashlee) of Plainfield and Amber Stidham (Darrin) of Seymour; her siblings, Carolyn Singleton of Columbus, Verne Miller (Debbie) of Columbus, Doc Miller (Rita) of San Leon, TX and Steve Miller (Teresa) of Sante Fe, TX; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Miller of St. Louis Crossing. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246).
