It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iverna Burns of Grabill, Indiana, born in Ossian, Indiana, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Werling and Marie Werling (Witte); her husband Gerald "Jerry" Burns; her sons, Rick Burns and Ronald Burns; and her siblings, Erma L. Henderson, Ruth Ann Bultemeyer and Wilmer Werling.
She is survived by: her sons, Randall Burns (Shelley) of Leo, Jeffrey Burns (Sheri) of Spencerville and Jim Burns (Kelly) of Fort Wayne; her daughter-in-law Sali Burns of Sarasota, Florida; and her sister Helene Hegerfeld (Robert). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Iverna's honor may be directed to Heartland Hospice.
