He was predeceased by: his father Howard Scott Butler; his uncles, Max Butler and Joel Butler; his aunt Linda Kanyuh Ragatz (Butler); and his brothers-in-law, Rudy Escobedo and Samuel Wilhauck.
He is survived by: his mother Lucinda Butler Kerschner (Poor); his wife Renee Butler (Escobedo); his sons, Joel Taylor and Collin Butler; his brother Scott Butler; his parents-in-law, Paula and Joseph Wilhauck (Joby); his siblings-in-law, Raquel Escobedo Hanic (Steve), Robert Escobedo, Regina Escobedo Lawson and Molly Wilhauck Messman (Robert); his aunts and uncles, Sue Poor Grothaus (Mark), Doris Butler Lemert (Bert), Constance Butler Cumbey, Janice Butler Geiger, Kim Cordes Wall, Kurt Cordes (Monica), Karl Cordes (Terri) and Kent Cordes (Sharon); and his friend Cory. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
