It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lula May Steinway of Gosport, Indiana, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dona Southern (Beavers) and Harley Southern; her son Sid Steinway; and her siblings, Joe Southern, Wayne Southern and Mary Sexton.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Steinway of Gosport; her sons, Richard "Dickie" Allbright of Bloomfield and Tony Steinway of Gosport; her grandchildren, Tony Steinway, Rodge Grant-Allbright (Keith) and Kyle Allbright; her great grandchild Miriam; and her siblings, Warren Dean Southern (Wilma) of Bloomington and Eula Burris (Jim) of Bloomington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home and Crematory (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401).
