He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen "Jay" and Doris Janet Samples (Wagner). He is survived by: his wife Julie Samples of Gosport; his children, Jenna Samples of Gosport, Jonathan Samples (Amber) of Poland, James Samples (Kim) of Gosport, Jaylen Samples of Gosport and Jeffrey Samples of Gosport; his sister Christy Beeson (David) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, William, Hunter and Finnick.
