She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Nusbaum and Viola Nusbaum (Mecum); her former husband Wayne Leatherman; her brother Glen Nusbaum; her daughter-in-law Dawn Leatherman; her stepson Steven Cripe; and her stepdaughter-in-law Janet Cripe.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Cripe; her children, Sue Leatherman Young (Tom) of Elkhart, Sharon Leatherman Byers (Rex) of Kokomo and Timothy Leatherman of Elkhart; her stepson Sydney Cripe of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her stepdaughter-in-law Barbara Cripe of Gaston, Oregon.; her grandchildren, Thomas Young (Michelle), Tara Wortinger (Rodney), Amber Bennington, Amanda Comer (Robert), Chad Byers (Melissa), Nicolas Leatherman (Courtney DelVecchio), Mindy Dehoff (Jason), Jessica Mitchell (John) and Andrew Leatherman; her stepgrandchildren, Katie Cantu (Brian), Steven and Jacob Cripe; and her sister Helen Koedoot (Jack) of Jenison, Michigan.. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
