William J. Long Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 96, William J. Long of Goshen, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to William's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration William has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Long and Hazel Long (Edson); and his wife Mary Lucille Kenega of Goshen. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Mote (James) of Union City and James Long (Cherrill) of Goshen; his stepgranddaughter Ellen Bunker of Sidney, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Jessica Lincicome of Wichita and Betsey Graber of Goshen. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home (1911 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
