He is survived by: his wife Vicki Shoemaker (Perkins) of Goshen, IN; his sons, David Shoemaker of South Bend, IN and Brian Shoemaker (Molly) of State College, PA; his granddaughter Autumn Shoemaker; his sister Karen Kane (John) of Goshen, IN; and his pets, Mika and Dexter.
