She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie Smith and Fannie Smith (Miller); her husband Clyde Brake; and her siblings, Leon Smith and Maxine Tichenor.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry L. Brake of Cromwell and James E. Brake of North Webster; her sister Betty Litsey of Anderson; and her grandchildren, Lisa Brake of Elkhart, Samantha Griffin (Billy) of Cromwell and Jimmy Brake (Sandra) of Goshen. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
