Ruth E. Shaum Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth E. Shaum of Goshen, Indiana, born in Clinton, Indiana, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Schlabach and Vivian Schlabach (Johns); her husband Paul E. Shaum; her stepdaughters, Phyllis Keller (George) and Marolyn Millar; her stepgrandson Adam Shaum; and her siblings, Eudean Broni (Emil), Richard, Dale (Vivian) and Theron Schlabach.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Norma Chatfield of Roswell, Carolyn Coddens (Richard), Elizabeth Noland (Randy) of South Bend, Steven Shaum (Kelly) of Nappanee and Randall Shaum (Jean) of Two Rivers, Wisconsin; and her siblings, Dorvin Schlabach (Ruth) and Arleta Kilmer. She is also survived by 13 step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren.
