He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Eldridge and Margaret Eldridge (McMillan); his son Brian Eldridge; and his brothers, Rev. Robert Eldridge and James Eldridge (Carlie).

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Eldridge; his sons, Brett Eldridge (Cristy) of Elkhart, IN and Bradd Eldridge (Diane) of Antioch, IL; his daughter-in-law Kathy Eldridge of Indianapolis, IN.; and his grandchildren, Elyse Best (Josh) of South Bend, IN, Mason Eldridge of Indianapolis, IN., Holyn Stonebreaker (Nate) of Franklin, IN., Kelsie Childers (Eric) of Converse, IN, Koby Eldridge of Goshen, IN., Denae Eldridge of Chicago, IL, Reece Eldridge (Elizabeth) of Madison, WI and Gavin Eldridge. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
