He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Oyer and Elizabeth "Betty" Oyer (Yoder); his wife Margaret "Margie" Yoder; his sister Ellen Rose Oyer; his half-brother Donald Oyer; and his stepmother Freda Teuscher Oyer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn Miller and Jean Cray (Virgil); his half-siblings, Linda Oyer and Ron Oyer (Jorge Kaba); and his friends, Emmon and Monique Schmucker of Goshen, Indiana.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
