She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Rinker and Mildred Rinker (Cowgill); her brother John C. Rinker; and her son-in-law Jeffrey Gowdy. She is survived by: her daughters, Mercy M. Elias of Elkhart, Jenna R. Handow (Michael) of Elkhart and Mildred J. Gowdy of Elkhart; her granddaughter Em Claire Gowdy of Elkhart; her sister Ethel Milanese (Larry) of Goshen; and her sister-in-law Nancy L. Rinker of Elkhart.
Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Heartland Hospice.
