He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Swihart and Rosemond Swihart; his daughter Nancy Spencer; his siblings, Ruth Roig and Don Swihart; his son-in-law Rick Westerman; his granddaughter Diana Spencer; and his great grandchild Lalany Wynn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Swihart of West Lafayette, Carol Caviness (Gary) of Bristol, Sally Miller (Paul Beck) of Syracuse and Susan Wilson (Larry) of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Alice Alvarez of Aibonito, Puerto Rico, Lois Chalfant of Lubbock and Roy Swihart (Carolyn) of Inverness, Florida.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
