Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phyllis Jean Showalter (Goshen, Indiana), who passed away at the age of 96, on December 13, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Rollin and Hilda Bollinger (Stump); her son Jake Showalter; her siblings, Dean, Wally, Lanny, Bob Bollinger and Evelyn Lechlitner; her daughter-in-law Lissa Hunt; and her granddaughters, Emily Showalter and Marcy Showalter.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Ann), Jay and Janet; her sister Ruby Hovey (Daryl); her grandchildren, Nanette Galloway (Scott), Andrew Showalter (Susan Leung), Danny Showalter (Lauren), Sara Showalter, Ping Showalter, Thea Showalter, Adam Rink and Aaron Showalter (Jennifer); and her daughters-in-law, Judy Showalter and Sally Stutsman. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home (311 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Paris Church of the Brethren (68170 Co Rd 23, New Paris, IN 46553).
Memorials may be directed to New Paris Church of the Brethren, Feed the Children, or Center for Hospice Care, Mishawaka.
