It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Daniel Shetler of Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Leroy Shetler and Geneva Shetler (Stamm); his mother-in-law Naomi Bender; and his brother-in-law Dale Derstine. He is survived by: his wife Jan Bender Shetler; his sons, Daniel Shetler (Maytal Saltiel) and Paul Shetler Fast (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Asiko, Madeline, Ari, Gideon and Lena; and his siblings, Joenita Clemens (Stanley), Terry Shetler (Bonnie Wolfe), Lu Derstine and Tami Hardy (Michael). He is also survived by many in-laws, nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the "Peter Shetler Fund" to support international students at Bethany Christian Schools.
